Boys basketball: Castle Rock 73, King’s Way Christian 65

Cale Johnson finished with 28 points and the visiting Rockets rode a strong middle two quarters to bear the Knights.

Kyle Gonzales scored 17 points and Jay Becker 16 for King’s Way in its season opener.

The Knights led 15-8 at the end of one quarter but the Rockets outscored King’s Way 47-28 over the middle two quarters.
