Drivers planning to travel State Route 14 near Camas on Saturday will encounter delays during an inspection of the West Camas Slough Bridge.

The bridge will be reduced to a single lane with flaggers from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. while Washington State Department of Transportation crews inspect new bridge features.

WSDOT’s SR 14, Camas-Washougal Widening and Interchange project slightly widened the bridge, added median barrier, and upgraded sidewalks and guardrail. Thursday’s inspection will allow crews to take measurements and inventory of these new additions.

The SR 14 West Camas Slough Bridge was last inspected in April 2011 and is due for another routine inspection in spring 2013.
