Austin Tran led three Panthers in double figures with 15 points as Washougal (2-0) controlled Tenino from the outset on the way to a 77-41 victory.
“He also defended their returning all-league guard (Devante Harris) and had a great overall game,” Washougal coach Malcolm Estes said.
Mike McElroy scored 13 points, while Aaron Deister had 12 and Sean Guthrie added 11. Nate Adams and Deister led Washougal with seven rebounds apiece; Jaden Jantzer had six assists while Mike McElroy added five.
The Panthers led 16-8 after one quarter, and by the end of the third the lead was 56-30.
