A 40-year-old Vancouver man was sent to the hospital after a Monday night crash on Interstate 205.
Jeffrey J. Howerton was treated and released from Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center after the crash.
The Washington State Patrol said Howerton was driving south on I-205 near Milepost 32 when he was hit from behind by a car driven by Andrea Conroy, 22, of Portland.
The crash was caused by following too close and driver inattention, according to a WSP bulletin.
Conroy was cited for DUI, WSP said.
