A Vancouver woman was hurt in a rainy-day crash Saturday morning on the southbound Glenn Jackson Bridge.
At 9:04 a.m., Erin Ross, 30, of Vancouver was driving her 2003 Toyota Camry on the I-205 bridge and lost control of her car, according to a memo from the Washington State Patrol. Her vehicle hit the right side of a 1991 Mercury Tracer owned by Annie Ernst, 50, also of Vancouver. The Tracer spun, hit the Camry again and veered to strike the left barrier, the memo said.
Ernst was treated at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and released. Her car was towed from the scene. Ross was uninjured, and her car had only minor damage.
The WSP said Ross had been driving too fast for the wet conditions and cited her for speeding. Ernst was cited for having no proof of insurance and an expired driver’s license.
