The Clark County Historical Society will hold its meet the authors reception Thursday, followed by the annual membership meeting.
The authors’ event starts at 5 p.m. at the Clark County Historical Museum, 1511 Main St.
Both meetings are free and open to the public.
The authors’ reception will celebrate the completion of the most recent Clark County History Annual, which is scheduled to come off the presses soon.
The annual historical society meeting at 6 p.m. will include award presentations and executive director Susan Tissot’s preview of coming museum attractions for 2013.
