The Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force arrested two people while serving a search warrant at a Minnehaha area home Thursday morning.

Arrested were Cassandra Niquette, 28, and Timothy Walker, 54. Both are from Vancouver and had outstanding warrants, said Cmdr. Mike Cooke, of the drug task force.

The Southwest Washington Regional SWAT Team served the warrant at 5305 N.E. 48th Ave. around 5:30 a.m. Eight people were in the home at the time. A small amount of drugs and drug paraphernalia was found in the house, Cooke said.

Detectives obtained a warrant based on evidence the house was used for drug trafficking, according to Cooke. The case is under investigation and more arrests are possible, he said.

The house is owned by Timothy Hyclak, according to county property records.
