The Clark County Historical Museum, 1511 Main St., will celebrate Northwest tribal heritage his month with two Saturday events.
On Saturday, the museum will hold a Native American Arts Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will feature work from some of the region’s most prominent tribal artists. Admission to the museum will be free all day and hands-on activities for children will be offered.
On Nov. 17, the museum will present traditional storyteller Curtis DuPuis at 2 p.m. An enrolled member of the Chehalis Tribe, DuPuis is an oral historian and storyteller of the Hazel Pete family, renowned in Washington for making traditional baskets.
Regular museum admission rates will apply for the Nov. 17 event. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for seniors and students, $2 for children and $10 for families. There is no charge for Clark County Historical Society members and active duty military personnel and their families.
