Pearson Field — The second-annual Aviation Harvest Festival pulled together flight with Halloween fun and games at Pearson Air Museum on Oct. 27. Visitors toured historic airplanes to find candy stations, built gliders and tested them in the hoops challenge, constructed “noisy rocket” balloons, and much more. A free 30-minute introductory flying lesson, courtesy of Aero Maintenance Flight Center, was won by Andrea Kysar, who said she will give it to her 13-year-old daughter.
