A high-risk sex offender is now living homeless in the Vancouver area, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday.
Shawn Terrell Carpenter, 52, was found guilty of two counts of encouraging child sexual abuse in the third degree in Lane County, Ore. He “unlawfully and knowingly possessed … a photograph or other visual recording of sexually explicit conduct involving a child,” according to a news release.
Carpenter is not wanted by police at this time, but is being monitored.
He is a white male who is 5-foot-4, weighs 220 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair.
He is associated with a blue 1990 GMC Safari with Oregon license plates 330 FAD.
