“Hopefully we’ll have a lot of Vancouverians show up,” West said. “It’s going to be a fun episode. Mayor Tim Leavitt shows up, Blaze from the (Portland Trailblazers) shows up. And part of it was filmed at Kiggins.”
The cast and crew will also be available to answer questions after the episodes air. This is the first time the series has been shown in a movie theater in Vancouver.
“We released it at a number of small film festivals in Portland, and it’s great to be in the audience and hear where people laugh,” West said. “But it will be even better to be in a crowd that’s from Vancouver to hear the local reaction.”
The finaleo will be available on the Web on June 4 at http://www.youtube.com/Vancouvria.

First Friday Art Walk to feature five local artists
Tonight’s First Friday Art Walk features artworks by five local artists exhibited in three public buildings, thanks to the Clark County Arts Commission.
Artwork by painter Anne John will be on display on the sixth floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., with a reception from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St., will display an exhibit featuring the work of John, Battle Ground sculptor James Lee Hansen, sculptural painter K.C. Madsen and painter Bill Park. The exhibit, a collaborative effort by the Clark County Arts Commission, Arts of Clark County, and Library Foundation, will be open 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Internationally recognized textile artist and feltmaker Janice Arnold’s exhibit, phase one of “Uncharted Territory,” will be displayed at Vancouver City Hall, 415 W. Sixth St., from 5 to 9 p.m. In July, phase two of the exhibit will feature the work of her father, Vancouver mapmaker Phil Arnold.
Arnold posted on her Facebook page: “Looking through my father’s maps in preparation for ‘Uncharted Territory.’ Finding many forgotten images that have been emerging in my felt for years … like silent voices that now can speak.”
Recently, John’s display in the Public Service Center launched an Arts Commission program that will bring the works of local artists on a quarterly basis to the building.
