The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is recruiting people for the 2013 deputy Reserve Academy.

The sheriff’s office will hold an informational meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. June 6 at the sheriff’s West Precinct public safety complex, 505 N.W. 179th St. in Ridgefield.

The meeting will provide information about how to become a reserve deputy. Reserve deputies volunteer for routine patrol, respond to emergency calls, protect crime scenes and serve the public in large community events and other functions.

For more information, visit Clark County Sheriff’s Office or email the Outreach Unit at sheriffcommunityoutreach@clark.wa.gov.
