A downtown antique shop, The Vintage Connection, has closed for an undetermined period of time due to water damage caused when a portion of ceiling was destroyed by heavy rain on Saturday.

The store owner, Michael Jandro, said he isn’t sure when the store will reopen at 808 Main St., formerly Boyd’s 88 Center, a discount variety store.

Jandro has contacted his insurance representative, who said it could take anywhere from two to six weeks for the store to reopen.
