Individuals and businesses may safely trash documents with personal information at First Independent’s free paper shredding events in June.
The bank recommends shredding documents before tossing them to prevent identity theft. Participants may bring up to two boxes of paper to be shredded at the two events, which will be held from 9 a.m. to noon June 9 at the bank’s Orchards location, and during the same hours June 16 at the Fisher’s Landing location.
