The Health Professions Quality Assurance office of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.

In April, the Dental Commission charged dentist Sanjeev K. Sharma with unprofessional conduct. Sharma also has a moderate sedation permit. The dental services he provided allegedly fell below the standard of care. He also allegedly advertised dental services at a reduced price but billed the insurer full price.

In April, the Nursing Commission released registered nurse Glenn E. Yauney from the terms of a prior agreement.
