You might find a green gift at the Camas Mother’s Day Plant and Garden Fair, with 100 booths offering a variety of plants from exotic flowers to local flora, as well as garden tools, planters, art and chickens, hosted by the Columbia Gorge Women’s Association. Or delight in the scents of Lilac Days as it draws to a close at the Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens. Visit the restored 1880s Victorian farmhouse and preserved Victorian gardens developed by pioneer Hulda Klager. A variety of different lilac plants will be available for purchase.

1. A celebration of dance
It’s a mix of modern and classic during the annual “Spring Repertoire,” performed by the Northwest Classical Ballet. The program include acts from “Swan Lake,” followed by originally choreographed pieces by Artistic Director Maricar Drilon, company dancers Anna Hooper and Daniel Rutis, and pieces by Carla Kendall-Bray of Dance Fusion NW and NW Dance Project’s Ching Ching Won.
