More than 1,000 cyclists are expected to take part in the 28th annual Ride Around Clark County. Riders have the choice of four marked routes: 18-, 34-, 65-, and 100-mile loops through the county, with each route beginning and ending at Clark College. Restrooms, mechanics, aid, food and beverages will be available. Hosted by the Vancouver Bicycle Club.
When: Same-day registration runs from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Saturday; courses are open 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Where: Hanna Hall at Clark College, 1820 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver.
Admission: $20-$25 for 18 miles, $30-$35 for 34, 65 and 100 miles.

Spring markets bloom
Battle Ground Village Outdoor Market opens for the season with more than 50 farmers and vendors on hand selling a variety of arts and crafts, as well as food items. The market also offers live music.
