Gregory Gonzales, the newly appointed Superior Court judge, was sworn in Friday afternoon by Clark County Superior Court Presiding Judge Barbara Johnson in her courtroom.
Gonzales was appreciative of the standing-room-only turnout, saying: “I’m so humbled and honored by the show of support.”
Gonzales, a former Battle Ground Municipal Court judge who was appointed in April by Gov. Chris Gregoire, succeeds retiring Judge Edwin Poyfair.
