Construction is expected to start in June on a project to widen and improve 1.7 miles of Northeast 88th Street, from Highway 99 to Northeast St. Johns Road.
Clark County Public Works staff will provide details and answer questions at an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Clark Regional Wastewater District, 8000 N.E. 52nd Court.
The $17.5 million project includes plans to rebuild one travel lane in each direction, add a continuous left-turn lane, install bicycle lanes and sidewalks, replace utility lines and build stormwater improvements such as rain gardens.
Residents who must drive through Northeast 88th Street construction should expect delays. All other traffic should use Northeast 78th Street.
