Camas — Parents can learn more about the state Guaranteed Education Tuition program before the May 31 enrollment deadline during a Camas School District presentation.
The event will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Zellerbach Administration Center, 841 N.E. 22nd Ave.
GET is a 529 prepaid tuition plan, in which college savings are guaranteed by state law to keep pace with rising tuition no matter how much it increases in the future. GET offers flexible savings options, as well as tax-free growth and withdrawals. GET units can be used at nearly any college, university or vocational school in the country.
The event is free. It will include a brief presentation with current enrollment materials available, followed by time for questions.
