Humane Society to host Adopt-A-Thon Saturday

The Humane Society for Southwest Washington, along with two other animal rescue groups, Must Love Dogs and Tender Care Animal Rescue, is hosting a 12-hour Pet Adopt-A-Thon at the humane society, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave, from noon to midnight Saturday.

The event’s goal is to complete 200 pet adoptions. Dogs and cats and some puppies and kittens will be available for adoption. All will be spayed or neutered in advance and will be ready to go to new homes.

Every adoption will include a free bag of food, collar, pet ID tag, microchip and national registration, current vaccinations and a free vet exam certificate.

Vendors, door prizes, retail store specials, half-priced adoptions from 10 p.m. to midnight and more will be offered. Call 360-693-4746 or visit Humane Society for Southwest Washington.
