Time is running out to send in a nomination for the second annual Florence B. Wager awards.
Award nominations must be submitted by Friday, March 30, to the Parks Foundation of Clark County office, 415 W. Sixth St.
The awards will be presented at the Parks Foundation annual meeting and luncheon June 14 at the Hilton Vancouver Washington.
Nominations are being accepted in the following categories: The Leading Eagle, recognizing a community leader (business, government, nonprofit or grass roots) who has led parks and recreation initiatives; the V-Formation Flyer, recognizing a spirited volunteer; and the Tributary, recognizing a parks and recreation department professional who goes above and beyond the call of duty.
Nomination packets are available at Parks Foundation of Clark County or by contacting the Parks Foundation at 360-487-8370. Tickets for the annual luncheon are available online too.
