Salmon Creek — Washington State University Vancouver is closing out Women’s History Month by celebrating women who inspire, mentor and empower others. The annual Women of Distinction event is 6 p.m. March 29 in the Dengerink Administration building, room 110.

Maya Muller, principal of Muller Design Studio, will deliver the keynote, “Hunting Rhinoceroses in the Digital Age.” The event’s capstone is the celebration of all nominees and the presentation of the Distinguished Woman of the Year award.

The annual award honors women who have made a difference in the lives of others and will be bestowed upon one WSU Vancouver student and one nonstudent. Award recipients are selected by a committee after review of nominations.

This is a free, public event. Reservations are recommended. RSVP by March 27 to http://vancouver.wsu.edu/distinction. A pass for free parking will be provided upon making reservations.
