All Fort Vancouver Regional Library District locations — including libraries, bookmobiles and headquarters — will be closed all day Thursday for staff training.
The district’s website, http://www.fvrl.org, will continue to be available during the closure.
The district also announced special scheduling for several locations. Washougal Community Library is closed through Friday, March 30, for installation of new carpeting; the Washougal library will reopen on Friday, following the district’s staff training day, with regular hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
On Easter Sunday, April 8, the Vancouver Community Library will be the only district branch open. The district’s main library in downtown Vancouver will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Vancouver Mall Community Library, which typically is open on Sunday, will be closed on Easter.
