The Board of Clark County Commissioners on Wednesday appointed Brian Peck and Troy Maxcy to the Clean Water Commission.

County commissioners also reappointed Don Moe and Nancy Olmstead to the nine-member advisory group.

The group meets monthly and makes recommendations to county commissioners about services, policies and financing for how the county meets federal and state requirements for water quality.

The group meets 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month in the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.

Peck operates a gas station, and Maxcy works for United Parcel Service.

Moe, who has served on the board since 2006, is a civil engineer specializing in designing stormwater systems.

Olmsted, a member since 2009, is an environmental scientist.

Peck, Moe and Olmsted will serve terms through Feb. 28, 2015. Maxcy’s term will end Feb. 28, 2014.
