Snow showers could repeat Thursday

Mother Nature might need to reset her internal clock.

Parts of Clark County woke up to snow showers Wednesday — the second day of spring.

The National Weather Service in Portland expected snow showers to yield to rain by 11 a.m. Wednesday’s high is expected to be 43 degrees.

Thursday may be more of the same.

The weather service says Clark County could see a repeat of snow showers yielding to rain by 11 a.m. Thursday, when the high is expected to be 46 degrees.

Little or no accumulation is expected.

Spring snow didn’t appear to cause traffic problems or even stick anywhere in the Vancouver area on Wednesday. Enough was on the ground in Washougal to delay schools for two hours and put several buses on snow routes.
