WASHOUGAL — More redevelopment is brewing in Washougal’s downtown core, where another building will be remodeled by Lone Wolf Development, one of the town’s main developers.

The company has signed a deal with Amnesia Brewing, which will lease a former pawn shop at 1834 Main St. Portland-based Amnesia expects a late summer opening for its operation.

It will include a tasting room and pub, along with a brewery expected to make up to 6,000 barrels within the first year. Amnesia also plans to start a beer bottling operation at the Washougal site.

Demolition work has begun on the Main Street building, with construction expected to start next month on interior and exterior upgrades, said Adam Taylor, a spokesman for Lone Wolf. The company has invested heavily in downtown Washougal, completing approximately $16.5 million worth of downtown development projects since 2007.
