Families who are fans of the worlds of Star Wars, superheroes, hobbits, and other science fiction and fantasy books and movies are invited to the Pacific Middle School Library’s second annual Sci-Fi Family Night and Book Fair on March 21 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Children are encouraged to wear costumes. They can enjoy science-fiction and fantasy-themed crafts, games, trivia and giveaways. The event will be visited by costumed members of Portland’s Cloud City Garrison, part of the International Star Wars group known as the 501st Legion.
Families can purchase books for their children and they can donate to the school library.
