Vancouver — Vancouver-based PerkSavvy.com and Broadsheet360.com have set the region’s first cash mob for 5:15 p.m. Thursday. Cash mobs have occurred across the U.S. and Canada as a show of support for local businesses. Local organizers have selected a business that will benefit from the cash mob. Participants will learn its identity when they meet at Chuck’s Produce, 13215 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd. in Vancouver. From there, they will walk en masse to the destination, where they are asked to spend $20 each.
