Brewcraft USA will relocate from Portland to Vancouver thanks to a deal approved by the Port of Vancouver Board of Commissioners on Tuesday.

Brewcraft, a subsidiary of beer-malt maker Great Western Malting — a longtime tenant of the port — will move into 38,017-square-feet of warehouse space owned by the port, bringing 20 employees with it.

Its lease took effect March 1.

Under the agreement approved by commissioners, Brewcraft will pay the port $126,192 per year for an initial six-year term with a pair of five-year extension options.

The company, which supplies various ingredients and equipment for brewing beer, will set up shop in a portion of Building 3201, south of the port’s administrative offices on Lower River Road.
