A Vancouver man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder Saturday after he allegedly shot another man during an early-morning altercation over noise in the parking lot of an east Vancouver apartment complex, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
Chris D. Paul, 31, was taken into custody for allegedly shooting another man to death during an early-morning altercation over noise in the parking lot of Village at Cascade Park, 501 S.E. 123rd Ave., said VPD spokeswoman Kim Kapp.
Kapp said Paul had called authorities at 4:50 a.m. to report that he had left his apartment to respond to noise in the parking lot and got into an altercation with a man who also lived in the complex.
During the altercation, Paul reportedly told authorities, he shot the man with a handgun, Kapp said.
