Clark County Board of Commissioners, District 1: Democrat Joe Tanner will have a fundraising reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Red Cross Community Room, 605 Barnes St. The event will be hosted by Arch and Nancy Miller, Bob and Karen Bernhardt, Steve and Cindy Horenstein, Bob and Sally Schaefer, Ron Frederiksen, Terry Murphy, Kelly McDonald, Keith Wallace, Eric Fuller, Carol Curtis and George Welsh.
