The Humane Society for Southwest Washington is looking for people to adopt cats found outside an abandoned Hazel Dell house last week.

Nine kittens and four cats were found outside a house on Northwest 29th Avenue, Humane Society officials said. The kittens have since been moved into a foster home, but the adult cats, which are more than 6 months old, remain available for adoption.

You can inquire about the cats abandoned in Hazel Dell at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington’s building, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave. Adopting adult cats costs $10 between now and the end of June.

The facility has around 280 cats of varying ages up for adoption.
