The driver killed in Friday evening’s traffic crash on Northeast Lombard Street in Portland has been identified as 36-year-old Carrie Ann Hill of Vancouver.

Portland Police Bureau investigators said a Nissan pickup driven by 29-year-old Jesse Dean Rankin of Camas was westbound on Lombard and crossed over the center line in the 4200 block, crashing into the Toyota sedan driven by Hill and a third vehicle.

The accident happened at 5:39 p.m.

Rankin and the driver of the third vehicle, a Nissan Altima, were transported to area hospitals for treatment for what police said were not life-threatening injuries. Police did not name the driver of the Altima.

No citations or arrests have been made, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Pete Kurronen at 503-823-2208 or Peter.Kurronen@PortlandOregon.gov.
