Volcanoes come up short at Edmonton

The Vancouver Volcanoes fell one point short at Edmonton on Friday, losing to the Energy 106-105 in International Basketball League action.

Vancouver (8-7) dropped its third straight game, while Edmonton (11-3) won its seventh in a row.

Andre Murray had 25 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists for the Volcanoes. Alex Tienfenthaler also had 25 points, and Devin Uskoski had 22.

No other details from the game were reported.

The two teams play again today at Edmonton.

The Volcanoes close out the regular season at home against the Yamhill Highflyers on June 29, and against the Salem Soldiers on July 1.
