Vancouver’s average gas price continues to fall

Local gas prices continued their slide last week, with AAA Oregon/Idaho reporting an average for regular unleaded of $3.88 in Vancouver, down 22 cents from last week’s $4.10 per gallon and 36 cents less than one month ago.The Vancouver price was even lower than Portland’s $3.92 and Oregon’s $3.93 per gallon. The Oregon average marked the fist time since March 19 that the statewide average was below $4 per gallon. Washington and California average gasoline prices also dropped below the $4-per-gallon mark, AAA reported.The national average also is falling, and now stands at $3.50 per gallon. AAA predicts continued declines in West Coast gas prices as they move closer to the national average.
