A pedestrian was killed Saturday night when he was struck by a vehicle in the Hockinson area, according to the Vancouver Fire Department.
The accident was reported shortly before 10 p.m., near the intersection of Northeast 172nd Avenue and Ward Road.
Vancouver Fire Department Capt. Kevin Murray said crews arriving on scene found that a middle-aged man had been killed.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
