Clark County — The 15th annual Community Pride Design Awards are open for nominations now.
The awards recognize outstanding building projects, environmental projects or other quality developments that enhance the community. Projects completed between Jan. 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012 are eligible. The nomination deadline is Aug. 15. Award-winning projects will be recognized at a Nov. 2 event.
Since 1996, more than 140 projects have been honored, representing commercial, industrial, residential development, public facilities and restoration efforts. Last year’s winners included the Vancouver Community Library, Hayes Freedom High School in Camas, McCallister Village in Fruit Valley and the restored U.S. Army Artillery Barracks.
