Camas — Violist Sophia Hansen, 11, came back for a third year serenading customers at the Camas Farmers Market to raise money for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society. This year she was joined by her friend Rachel Greene, 15, and the two have become the “Duelling Violas.” Busking with an open viola case on July 18, they raised $113.89 in small bills and change for the humane society. They’ll be volunteering at the Washington State School for the Blind over the coming school year.
