Equality Southwest Washington, a marriage equality advocacy organization, will hold an Equality Day Family Picnic from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Vancouver, 4505 E. 18th St.
Activities include games, a raffle, play area with an inflatable bounce ball and a speech by state Rep. Jim Moeller, D-Vancouver. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, food and beverages to the picnic site.
