Northwest Pipe Co. said Monday it has been selected to provide welded steel pipe for a water pipeline project in Texas in a deal worth $69 million in revenue for Vancouver-based company.
The company will provide the pipe for three sections of a project that will restore the North Texas Municipal Water District’s raw water supply, which has been shut down since zebra mussels were found in Lake Texoma.
“Northwest Pipe Company is delighted to be a participant in this major pipeline delivery system,” Rich Roman, president and CEO of the company, said in a news release. “The project is a significant part of our plans for 2012-2013.”
