Workshop to offer tips on detoxifying home

Clark County families can learn tips on creating a toxic-free home, saving money and helping the planet during the Healthy Choices for Healthy Families workshop July 21.

The workshop is from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Cascade Park Library, 600 N.E. 136th Ave. in Vancouver.

Speakers from the Master Composter/Recycler Program, Cotton Babies and Washington State University Extension will describe options for cleaning, feeding and diapering children while reducing waste and exposure to toxins.

The workshop is a joint effort by the Master Composter/Recycler Program, Columbia Springs, Watershed Stewards and Clark County Department of Environmental Services.

There is no charge for admission.
