Camas student lands on dean’s list

Mackenzie G. Tipton of Camas was named to the dean’s list at Boston University for the spring semester. Boston University is the fourth largest independent university in the United States, with an enrollment of more than 29,000 students in its 17 schools and colleges.

Local students make honor roll at OSU

Several Camas students have been named to the honor roll at Oregon State University for spring term 2012. Students must earn at least a 3.5 GPA to be named to the list.

They include Natalie M. Burkard, Justin M. Lebowsky, Brittney N. Oljar, Mark A. Price and Courtney E. Riler of Camas.

Callison earns dean’s list honors

Carissa Callison of Washougal has made the dean’s list for the spring 2012 semester at the University of Montana Western.

Students must earn at least a 3.33 GPA to be named to the list.

McCarthy wins scholarship

Patrick McCarthy of Washougal has won a $2,000 scholarship through the Clark County Fair Association.

He is a 2011 graduate of Washougal High School and currently attends Gonzaga University.

To be eligible for a Fair Association scholarship, the applicant must have been involved in 4-H, FFA, or Open Class during past Clark County fairs.
