Tanner Nelson scored 29 points — 19 of them in the first quarter — as the Titans hustled past the host Storm.

Sparked by transition offense from Skyview turnovers, Union hurried to a 26-7 lead by the end of the first eight minutes. Nelson hit three 3-pointers in that fast start.

Jordan Chatman finished with 19 points to help the Titans (13-4, 8-1) move to within one win of wrapping up the 4A Greater St. Helens League championship.

Skyview coach Adam Horn said his Storm did not play with needed poise against the Titans’ defensive pressure early in the game.

Ross Armstrong led Skyview (9-9, 5-5) with 16 points and Jordan Berni added 14 points.
