The Beavers rallied from a 17-2 deficit to get back in the game but couldn’t pull out the victory.
Woodland came back to forge a 28-28 halftime tie, and was withing three points with two minutes to go.
“We just couldn’t score and had some turnovers, and they made some plays,” Woodland coach Aaron Shepherd said.
Tannyr Knight had 15 points for the Beavers, and Troy Flanagan added 10.
R.A. Long got 19 points from Keenon Marin, 16 from Joe Buckley, and 15 from Bryce Eisele in picking up its first league victory.
