Brooke Kates made all four of Ridgefield’s 3-pointers, but the Spudders were unable to convert several opportunities at a tying basket late in the game.

Ridgefield rallied from 12 points down in the first quarter to make it a close game in the second half.

“Logan Manecke just killed us on the board,” Ridgefield coach Carl Click said. “I heard she had 16 rebounds. And we’re taller than they are.”

The Spudders were hurt by 2-for-12 free throw shooting.
