The host Trappers used defense to dictate the tempo for the last three quarters and earned a Class 3A Greater St. Helens League win.
“We were always attacking, second quarter on. We got back to playing our way, which is a very aggerssive style,” Fort coach Scott Thompson said.
Thompson gave credit to Loris Hervey for setting the tempo for his team.
Deonte Hawkins had 12 points, Quinton Whitfield 11 and Mario Eyler 10 for the Trappers. Eyler hit a big 3-point shot midway through the fourth quarter.
