Three players scored in double figures and visiting Kelso made enough plays down the stretch to hold off the Thunder.
Carly Holboke scored 30 points for Mountain View, which fell behind early. The Thunder were within four points with less than three minutes to go, but Kelso was able to get to the basket and to the foul line to finish the victory.
Taylor Pritchett and Jamilee Iddings scored 13 apiece for Kelso, and Natasha Marith had 12 points.
