Hayden Hall scored nine of his 21 points in the first quarter, then Justin Schauer scored all 14 of his in the second half for the Hawks.
“I give them a lot of credit for their defense,” Washougal coach Malcolm Estes said. “They were physical. They did a good job taking away our inside game.”
Hockinson made 18 of 35 free throws; Washougal was 22 of 41.
Washougal was led by Aaron Deister with 14 points and Michael McElroy with 11.
In addition to his 21 points, Hall had 11 rebounds and five assists.
