Amboy — The North Clark Historical Museum recorded more than 4,400 volunteer hours during 2011.

The board of directors would like to thank all the volunteers and anyone who made contributions or pledges to the museum. Without the help and donations from members, the museum would not be able to flourish and grow, said Georgene Messner Neal, president of the board, in the monthly newsletter.

Thanks to volunteers, the historical archives are being expanded, the Wise Shop is progressing and the work on the exterior is nearing completion.
